As president of Sharp Commercial, Inc. (SCI), in Atlanta, Birmingham, AL resident Katherine "Kate" Sharp focused on industrial property in the Atlanta and Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC areas with warehouse/distribution space ranging from 50,000 to 1,000,000 square feet. Kate Sharp also headed the firm’s property management division to provide clients with peace of mind regarding day-to-day maintenance of properties, in addition to maximizing each client’s return on investment. Prior to starting SCI in 2012, Ms. Sharp spent more than six years as the vice president of Ackerman and Co., also in Atlanta. During her tenure at the full-service commercial real estate firm, she was a member of the Million Dollar Club for two consecutive years for producing a commercial real estate volume of $5 million or more per year. Over the course of her career in the real estate and property management industry, she has gained in-depth insight not only into the Atlanta market but surrounding markets in Savannah and Charleston. Katherine Sharp of Birmingham, AL, studied kinesiology and exercise science as an undergraduate at the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating with a bachelor of science. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, in both deep seas and lakes. She also plays tennis and golf.
